The last time I was at Walgreens, I did a double-take in the cosmetics department. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that Revlon's spring colors were from a high-end brand. They're part of a limited-edition collection called A Floral Affair, and I'm craving a lot of the items: some eye-catching blushes, swirled lip gloss compacts, and beautiful eye shadow trios.
Most of the colors are warm metallics—lots of light browns, bronzes peaches—and I wound up buying a powder blush in Hushed Blush (about $5.99). As you can see, the clear compact holds three shades in a beautiful embossed pattern. When applied with a brush, the colors blend into a sheer peachy-pink with the slightest amount of shimmer. If you're thinking, "Hmm, that sounds a lot like Nars Orgasm," you're on the right track, my friends. While the color isn't absolutely identical, I'd say it's a 90% match. To see a color swatch, read more.
So, as you can see, the Revlon hue is pretty close to Orgasm; it's not as intense, though. Orgasm just has more pigment and a little more shimmer, while Hushed Blush is a more sheer version of the peachy-pink shade. For the price and the packaging, I think this drugstore find is worth checking out.

Look like a great (and thankfully cheap) product!!!
1I really need to find a dupe with less shimmer than that- I don't feel like I can wear shimmer to the office, and I tend to wear stains at night, just so I don't wind up with it sliding off.
But yeah, that is really pretty packaging!
2Their swirled lip glosses are super cool and cute!
3I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for this!
4i've been debating buying the Nars... i think i will try this first
5Fabulous, I will keep a look out.
6I like Revlon makeup. The blush looks marvelous.I think i might go out and buy it.
7i was jus at walgreens to get the peakbars fitsugar reviewed abt (unfortunately this walgreens didnt hv it)but guess wht this new revlon collection caught my eye and i was hopin tht u'd review abt it soon
now i may go bak and get it
8i am so going to try this. i need a new blush anyways
9this is great! it is so close in color that i can save my money for something else!
10I've not worn blush for so long, mainly because it looks like war paint on me. I've never tried these so-called sheer products, since they don't turn out that way on my caramel/honey colored skin. Having seen the skin-swatch here, though, I like the way it seems to blend, with just a hint of color to turn up the 'oomph' factor.
Seems like this might be worth a try - now, to find a shade that looks good.
11Oooh, cheap new makeup, I'm there!
12this looks pretty....and i need more blush....perhaps a trip to walgreens is in order!
13I am SO going to buy this! Thanks Bella!!!
14Oh! I got a $5 off any Walgreens purchase the last time I bought something there, so maybe I'll pick this up!
15I don't even need blush but may still pick this up.
16Pretty color, pretty packaging, and it's cheap.
17I don't need blush, I just bought some, but I think I might have to go buy this one and give it a try.
I always stop to admire these blushes at the drugstore. They're so pretty! I haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet though (only $5.99 at Walgreen's?? I swear it was $9!) Thanks for the review, Bella. I need to stop admiring & go ahead & buy one! (Or two..)
18Oooo. Very pretty!! I hope I remember to check these out next time I go to the drugstore.
19Cute! I might check this out...
20I am so buying this blush!!! Thanks for the review Bella!!!
21I just bought the pink blush from this collection a couple of weeks ago! It's very pink, but comes out sheer and pretty on the face. I also bought one of the swirly lip glosses, it's a pretty pink/coral color. I'm really pleased with both of them.
22I'll definitely check this out, thanks!
23nice!
24I've been thinking about the Nars blush for ages, but maybe I'll try this first!
25I just think that the highlighter would be too light on my fair skin. I love the colors and I would love to try them but I can't spend the money on this.
26This particular color is sold out every where I go.
Bella did you get this on sale because I always see it listed for 9.99
27Awesome find, Bella! Nars Orgasm really is all that they say it is...I have had it for years and it was one of the first "upper level" brands I bought. I might just buy this one when I can though because funds are tight at the moment and I would not want to be without my natural look blush color. And you are so right, this looks just like those high end makeups!!!
28You're a lucky gal Bella, I just went to Walgreens and they had it for $11.49
Needless to say
I didn't get it, but I did get $12 Sally Herschberger style primer. I figure for Revlon almost $12 is too much but for Sally Herschberger haircare $12 is a steal.
29nars' is more pinkish
30Went to CVS last night and found it for something like $11.99. Bella must have gotten a heck of a deal!
31I cant find it
it's not on their website either
32I can't wait to buy this.... I've been desperate to go out and buy nars orgasm.... now I think it might just have to wait so I can try this!
33Oooh. I just saw this post from the Nars Orgasm lipgloss and nail polish post. I'm going to have to try hushed blush to tide me over for a while.
34I might just have to try this one...thanks
35Note to self: pick this up! (LOVE Nars but can't quite afford it until I finish my last semester...BOO! But this looks like a good substitute for now!
36i just bought this blush this weekend and i love. thankfully, CVS was running a sale on Revlon too!
37Thanks for the tip! I'm headed to Target to see if they have it!
38I bought this recently and love it! I just swipe a wide brush over it in a straight diagonal and then apply it to my cheeks like so. This leaves me with shimmer on the cheekbones, a bit of color on the cheeks and a bit darker below them. A quick way to highlight cheeks!!!
