Now this is what I call a color chameleon! Actress Rinko Kikuchi isn't at all afraid of a hairstyle change. Yesterday, she arrived at the 2008 Spring Chanel Haute Couture Show donning a cropped and darkened 'do — and paired with those red-hot lips, she sure looks tres chic. Back in February, she had coppery long hair at an Oscars luncheon, and at last year's Golden Globes, her hair was billowy and yellowy-blond. Which color do you find the most flattering on Rinko?

Coppery red
It so suits her
If I HAD to...red.
red is hot
I'm digging the blonde the best!
She looks good in the coppery red photo, but I'm wondering if it is more a function of her makeup, than the hair color?
I hate her light colored eyebrows, especially when she is sporting the black hair
the middle is the best. coppery?
Neither of the choices. Most Asian women look better with brown hair.
I think the red color and lengh are flattering.
Love the red hair--and her makeup helps there, too.
I don't particularly like any of them but I chose the coppery red. The light is too light and the dark is too dark.
I love the coppery red, but I think that the black hair would look better with another hairstyle.
I like the blonde, but the red is definitely the best!! The black just looks too strong...
the eyebrows need some more structure and perhaps a higher arch most likely in the middle of her eye, plus if the eyebrows were at most two shades lighter than her hair color it would enhance her face
She is hot is coppery red. I love it, very attractive I think.
I just happen to like red hair...but I'm actually a bit jealous - she seems to be one of those people who can pull off almost any color. BIG props to the colorist for finding such flattering tones.
I like the blonde best however the red is a close 2nd.
The red really suits her. THe black would be nice if her hair didn't look short and greasy. Needs more volume.
She really does look like three different people here. But yeah, what happened to her brows in the third photo?
ooo the red is excellent. theres something about red hair on asian complexions - always looks great!
Coppery red!! The black makes her look washed out and older than her years.
I agree - none of them. I think Asians look best with their natural, deep brown hair, especially when it's healthy.
the red, but the blonde suits her too.. her image
I don't like her short hair, doesn't look good on her.
That being said, I ADORE her since I saw her in Babel. She was so amazing, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen during her scenes. She's really a great actress and I can't wait to see her again in a movie. Her last role seems utterly cool.
i like the soft style of the blonde hairdo. it suits her very much.
the black prolly is the most natural but the cut is very severe and not so nice on her.
and where are all her eye brows in these pictures???
I like the red, but maybe it's just the style that it's in. Each bold color is shown in very different styles...so I'm going more with the style of the red, than the color itself.
In the blonde, she actually looks a bit like Kelly Ripa...maybe it's the smile and the hair color...interesting.
I chose the red option as it seemed to go best with her brows and skintone, although if her brows were better in the third one then that's the one I'd pick.
i think she looks terrible in both
Definitely liked the dark hair best. The red hair wasn't too bad, but the blond definitely washed her complexion out too much. The cropped, short haircut with the darkest hair is really "in" right now as well, and looks very chic on her. Most people miss that about short hair, that it looks so chic and stylish on most people, because they get so freaked out about cutting their hair. It's just hair people, it does grow back!
I also like her dark liner, and
while she is sporting a classic bright red lip it's just a bit too bright for my personal taste.
If I HAD to choose between the three, I'd learn toward the red since it makes her stand out without being too washed out. Honestly, I don't like any of them. They're too harsh like a bad quickie at home hair dye job. She needs some 'lights!
wow, she is so versatile
None of them, sadly.
The black hair and short cut look great on her. A little jarring at first, but she looks very high fashion.
coppery red!
Poor, baby. None of them!
I'd have said black but that one is like shoe polish., so as far as those three pictures.. red one is least horrible on her.
Coppery Red, the black and shiny makes her look too old.
I like the coppery red on her the best. (It looks more warmish brown to me.) Although, I think it the more defined and filled in eyebrows in the coppery photo that helps with my selection. The blonde doesn't suit her features very well and the harsh black might suit her better if her skin wasn't so pale and if her eyebrows were filled in. Plus, the short cut isn't suited well to her face shape.
BLONDE
I love the red, and the blonde looks okay, but the black is awful...
i say blonde. she isnt the typical pretty asian lady.
RED
whats up with the brows in that last pic?
I typically pick blonde hair (as it brightens and freshens one's face), but in this case, I picked the red - She looks gorgeous!
