Hayden Panettiere is becoming quite the activist these days! First it was dolphins in Japan, and now she's helping to raise awareness on commercial whaling alongside environmentalist John Kerry. Of course, being the star she is, she arrived looking positively glamorous. What do you think of her look? Lovely as always, or a little over-the-top for a somewhat political event?

It's cute but doesn't make her look serious as it's too glamorous for activism in my opinion. Remember Jane Fonda out there? She wasn't all "prettied up." I commend her good work though.
1She looks all glowy and pretty, what's not to like?
2She looks polished - not too glam, in my opinion, but just right. The only thing that's over-the-top is the shimmer all over her face - it's not really appropriate for a political or professional event.

5I'm from D.C. and as conservative as women dress here, they are also trendy. It's also important to look clean and polished as Hayden looks. She looks pretty and natural, what's wrong with that? Look at Senator Clinton's scheduler in the latest issue of Vogue, she wears make up similar to Hayden.

22Just because you want to help conserve, preserve and promote awareness for a specific cause doesn't mean you have to look disheveled or like a "normal" person might. If her stylist did her up for this event than that would be one thing... She just looks like a pretty, sweet girl that wants to support her cause. I don't think there is anything wrong with that- It's not like when Naomi Campbell did her community service in designer boots and shades... Talk about tacky!
