With temperatures rising, hairstyles are also on their way up, and three celebrities opted for a popular Spring style this past week. Hannah Simone wore her twisted topknot with a heavy set of bangs, while Ciara gave her topknot some serious slick and height. And Kristen Wiig paired hers with glossy pink lips. These three ladies wore their styles in three different ways, but whose did you like best?
Kate Hudson may have followed the same career path as her Academy Award-winning mom, Goldie Hawn, but she's clearly made her own mark on Hollywood. Since her breakout role in Almost Famous over a decade ago, Kate — and her blond mane — have been a regular on the red carpet. The all-American actress turns 34 today, and to celebrate, we're taking a look back at some of her best beauty moments.
It's been a star-studded week with a slew of celebrities out and about at premieres, galas, and various other red carpet events. We've rounded up our favorite beauty looks, from Jennifer Aniston's casual-cool ponytail to other gorgeous lip colors and hairstyles worth stealing. Click through to see who made our top 10.
For New York Bridal Week Spring 2014, Marchesa sent models down the runway with a smoky eye fit for a nighttime wedding. While most women stray away from anything drastic on their wedding day, Revlon's Gucci Westman revealed the secret to pulling off the look with class. And while the hair by Kérastase seems complex, you can easily re-create it for yourself.
The look: A soft smoky eye, a twisted knot, and sheer pink nails.
Key tips: Revlon Global Artistic Director Gucci Westman recommends carrying a hydrating lipstick, concealer, and eye shadow for touch-ups during the wedding reception.
Overheard backstage: Westman also told us a little bit about her wedding makeup and mentioned she might be making an all-inclusive palette for brides in the future.
Whether you realize it or not, a character's hair has a lot to do with their place in a film. Case in point: Anne Hathaway's pixie cut in Les Misérables was just voted the most influential film hairstyle of all time. And while Anne's cut is definitely iconic, we've rounded up 10 of our picks for most influential film styles. Just keep clicking!

Earth Month is the perfect time to experiment with eco-friendly beauty recipes, like this three-ingredient, skin-softening lip scrub from founder of LaLicious, Jessica Kernochan. "Honey is a natural skin softener and sugar is used to exfoliate," she explains. Kernochan also likes to add a little coconut oil for added nourishment. The details below:
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon honey
A dab of coconut oil
Apply the mixture to your lips with your fingers and scrub them gently in small circular motions. Rinse the scrub off with warm water, pat dry, and apply your favorite balm.
