One look you won't have trouble translating from the runway to real life is the easy and casual look coming down the Chloé Spring 2014 runway. "The look is an intellectual girl," hairstylist James Pecis told WWD. "This is still in line with the Chloé girl, where there has to be an ease to it." He went with a sleek straight hairstyle with a crisp center part. Diane Kendall with MAC Cosmetics created the no-makeup makeup look to complement the light and airy collection that was done in shades of olive green. Kendall applied a light layer of makeup and then actually removed some of it with moisturizer to get the dewy look.
What if we told you there was a DIY blemish-zapping lotion that not only shrinks the pesky thing but also reduces the redness and can even kill bacteria? Well, it's true. You can actually make your own overnight treatment at home. All it takes is your favorite astringent or tea tree oil and a bottle of calamine lotion. It'll cost you less than $10 at the grocery store and will last you around six months to boot.

While it's next to impossible to completely get rid of cellulite, there are a few things you can do to reduce its appearance. "I'm a huge fan of coffee grounds, and not just for your morning cup, but for your body as well," explains Jessica Kernochan, founder of eco beauty brand LaLicious. "The caffeine can help diminish the appearance of cellulite, and the coconut oil will hydrate and smooth your skin to perfection." In honor of Coffee Day today, why not whip up a batch of this skin-softening scrub?
1 cup coffee grounds
1/2 cup white or brown sugar
1 cup coconut oil
Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly. After you've washed your hair and body, massage the scrub on wet skin and rinse with warm water. Your skin will be soft, hydrated, and ready to be bared in your favorite warm-weather ensembles.
For his Spring 2014 presentation, Jean Paul Gaultier's beauty references spanned many different decades. Coco Rocha sported John Travolta's pompadour style from Grease, there were teased curls and Afros, and even the Amy Winehouse bouffant from his Spring 2012 Haute Couture runway made a comeback. The makeup looks were just as sporadic with dark smoky eyes, retro winged liner, and even a shock of orange shadow. The models strutted down the catwalk with a Dancing With the Stars-themed judges' table looking on, and in our eyes, every look got a 10.
There was no mistaking the season on the Vivienne Westwood Spring 2014 runway. Each model was depicted as a woodland nymph or Earth-loving fairy; their faces were splattered with brown and gold paint as if there had just been a romp on the forest floor. The lips were burnished with brown lipstick, and a dark contour was added on the cheeks for a sun-kissed glow. The hair was styled in a classic bouffant with tendrils around the nape, and some models wore wreaths or floral barrettes. We're accustomed to extravagant costumes on the Westwood runway, and this season the theme was straight out of a Greek poem.
At Viktor & Rolf's Spring 2014 presentation, the worlds of punk and prep collided. Fashion-wise, that meant pleated skirts, leather vests, and studded collars. And when it came to the beauty, the makeup and hair were in direct contrast.
The skin was flawless with bold brows and flushed cheeks, exuding the innocence of boarding school attendees. On the other hand, the hair was something straight out of the punk hair handbook. The sides were slicked back for a faux undercut style, while the strands in back remained dry. With safety pins as jewelry and loafers to boot, we're calling this battle a draw.
