Pretty packaging gets us every time, which is why we're obsessed with the latest collaboration between perfumer Frédéric Malle and Liberty of London. The two brands are celebrating five years of collaboration, and to mark the occasion, Malle chose 18 different Liberty of London prints to redress his classic scents. The artwork ranges from geometric to floral, colorful to austere and highlights the synergy between sight and smell. Each box was hand selected by Malle to match the fragrance within, like Lipstick Rose (above), which is decked out in rich, red blooms. These limited-edition boxes will look amazing on your vanity or under the Christmas tree, and you won't want to throw out the wrapping! All the scents are available at Liberty of London and FredericMalle.com. We'll stop gushing now and bring on the product porn.
Before the magic hits the sparkling runway, the Victoria's Secret Angels slip into their silk robes and get a full-body makeover. From GHD tools for iconic waves to the brand's own makeup and body bronzer, Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, and all the other Angels spend hours primping backstage. Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their beauty routines from snaps shared on Instagram!
For the Van Cleef & Arpels store opening in New York last night, Blake Lively channeled Hollywood icons like Rita Hayworth and Veronica Lake. But the newest face (and hair!) of L'Oréal Paris modernized her classic waves with a vampy makeup look. We're taking notes to copy this style for our next red carpet event . . . or, you know, a fabulous holiday party.
Classic Curls: To get the sideswept waves, you can go really old-school and dust off your hot rollers. Use the medium-sized curlers to set dry hair. While you're waiting for the waves to sink in (about 20 minutes), steal Blake's makeup look below. No time to wait? You can get a similar but more relaxed curl using a one-inch iron. Wrap hair around the barrel so that curls fall away from the face, leaving a few inches out at the roots. Hold for 30 seconds. Finish hair with a holding spritz like Oribe Anti-Humidity Spray ($38).
Modern Makeup: While a typical cherry-red lipstick would complete the Old Hollywood theme, reach for something vampier for an updated take on the classic instead. Try Deborah Lippmann's Forsaken Set ($38), a dark wine lipstick and nail polish duet. To balance out the moody lip, it's best to go light on the eye makeup.
Blake wore champagne shadows to brighten up her blue eyes. We like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash in Beige ($22) because it can work for most skin tones. Apply the shadow to lids and inner corners. Then, wet an angled liner brush and swipe on the shimmering shadow along the lower lash line, too. You want to avoid overusing eyeliner and focus on the mascara for this look. Bring it full circle by dusting the same metallic shadow under brows and on cheekbones for a glow that rivals Blake's gala-ready style.

If there's anyone who will buck the traditional big hair, big beauty looks, and big everything that's typical to Texas, it's Kristen Stewart. The actress was one of many guests, including Lily Collins and Dakota Fanning, sitting pretty at Chanel's annual Metier d'Arts show, which was staged by Karl Lagerfeld in Dallas. Kristen opted for that sideswept bed head we've come to expect from her, whether she's running for a flight or sitting front row at Fashion Week. She vamped up the look with a seriously smoky eye that had her shadow blended and extended to created an exaggerated cat eye.
Lily also paired some grungy waves with an after-dark makeup look, but instead of focusing on the eyes, Lily swept a deep red lipstick across her lips. She created an ombré look by focusing the dark lip color on the outer part of her lips to add some edge. Dakota went Parisian gamine with her twisted updo that wrapped across the crown of her hair. She complemented the look with flirtatious winged liner and a pretty pink pout. The people of Dallas may have raised a brow or two over the fashion-forward beauty looks these ladies brought to town, but we love a girl who can shake things up. We're curious, which look was your favorite of the night?
Some eyes may wander below the neck at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but we're gawking at the models' hair and makeup that only took hours to complete. If you wanted your close-up look at how to get Angel-worthy cheekbones and sexy hair, we've got all the looks here. So in case you don't get that perfect upfront view when the show hits your TV screen on Dec. 10, you'll have already seen it.

Braids and updos don't have to be mutually exclusive ideas in the world of hair. Pretty plaits have a place alongside chignons, while box braids can look edgy mixed into an over-the-top bun. Or just take a nod from Kelly Osbourne (above), and braid a ponytail before twisting it into a bun. Talk about a perfect marriage! We've rounded up four more styles that are even sweeter when you add a braid (or many). For instant inspiration, just keep scrolling!

What happens when anime and beauty collide? We get a gorgeously girlie makeup palette, and that's exactly what the collaboration between Shu Uemura and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has delivered. The Heart-Full Pink Parallel Eyes and Cheek Palette ($69) contains a smattering of pretty pink makeup hues. Seven iridescent and satin eye shadows dance around a cheek color, which are perfect for creating a delicate, feminine look. The kit also contains two dual-sided shadow brushes for ultimate flexibility in your makeup application. But what we love most about this palette is the adorable illustrations that decorate the front of the case, bringing us back to our Sunday mornings watching Sailor Moon with a bowl of Cheerios. Who doesn't love some nostalgia with their makeup?
