Absolute

When it comes to perfume, there are many choices. Have you ever seen "absolute" written across that flashy bottle on the department store shelf, but weren't to sure what it meant? An absolute is similar an essential oil, except more concentrated in smell and darker in color.
Absolutes are obtained by using solvents to extract the highly scented aromas. Then, alcohol is added, and once it is evaporated, the absolute is what remains. Due to the way the aroma is extracted, absolutes are fresh and bright, and often wear longer, too. Try Secrets D'Essences Rose Absolut ($58) or Aveda Love Pure-Fume Absolute ($22) for an absolutely fragrant experience.
