Apr 28 2010 American Apparel isn't the only retail chain to take a shine to nail polish lately. This week, Aldo will have a bit more color among its shoe offerings. The trendy shoe store, long a favorite of model Coco Rocha, is rolling out a line of nail lacquer in bright, bold shades. Though there's a bubblegum pink for demure manicures, most colors are loud in all the right ways — think neon violet, shocking yellow, and traffic-cone orange. (Check out Fab's preview and jewelry to match.) The polishes are free of toxic chemical baddies DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde. At just $5 a bottle, the whole thing's a shoe-in.
