Alexander Wang is no longer the new kid on the style block, and this season, he cast some of the biggest names in modeling: Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova, Shalom Harlow, and more. They sported a beauty look that was easy, wearable and slightly tomboyish — something that works equally well on the runway or the sidewalk. Check out our video for a sneak peek at Alexander's newest nail polish collaboration with Sally Hansen, plus so much more from behind the scenes.View Transcript »
Hey everyone, it's Annie with your Bella Beauty Bee, and we're backstage at Alexander Wang along with some models you might know, like Gisele and Carolina. The hair is parted in the middle, long, straight, very urban, and cool. Making the parting like very exact with a comb, gives a lot of strength to the shape. It's almost like a take a minimal hairstyle. It can be very sophisticated. It's always the same girl, It's always very easy, the beauty aspect. It's very modern. She's probably every girl that every girl wants to. The makeup look be simple at first. Take another glance. Strong brows, beautifully highlighted cheekbones and adown lip. We're making the eyebrows quite strong. It definitely gives strength to the face. He loves his girls to be his girls, so he said he wants them to look really strong and boyish. After spotting some of Alexander's girls - Gisele, Carolina, Shalom - we all took a sneak peek at the nail polish collection he designed for Sally Hansen. The three colors are out in the fall, and the color he puts down the runway was called "bandage." And yes, Alexander came up with the names himself. I have to say this is one of the more wearable looks we've seen at Alexander Wang. So, I can't wait try it out myself, but right now I'm gonna go do some more model spotting. See you later on BellaSugar TV.
