As for the makeup, Stila key makeup artist Sarah Lucero wanted to align with the inspiration of the collection: all-American, optimistic '50s gal. She started with a classic black cat-eye and then layered a stripe of Stila's Stay All Day Liner in Periwinkle (out in Spring) or Snow ($20). "It's like pinstripe on top," she said.
