Amanda Seyfried Chloe Premiere Makeup Tutorial
Get Amanda Seyfried's Sweet and Sexy Makeup Look
At the premiere of her new film Chloe, Amanda Seyfried showed off a sweet but sexy look. To find out how to get the look yourself, just keep reading.
Eyes:
- Amanda wore a smoky eye but kept it from being too dramatic by using a translucent aubergine shadow and waterlining rather than outlining her eyes. To begin, waterline the rims of both your upper and lower lids with a waterproof black eyeliner in the texture of your choice (for beginners, a pencil or gel liner is easiest).
- Apply a soft mauve-purple shadow, like Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Shadow in Rock Violet ($15), on your lids from lash line to crease.
- Smudge an aubergine cream shadow, like MAC Paint Pot in Artifact ($16.50), into the creases of your upper lids and use a liner brush or the narrow tip of an eye shadow applicator to line your bottom lash line with it.
- Finish it up with a few coats of lengthening black mascara on both your upper and lower lashes.
Lips and cheeks:
- Amanda matched her lipstick to her blush and used sheer textures, which allows you to wear eye-catching color while still looking natural. The easiest way to do this is by using a lip and cheek stain. For a berry-hued flush like Amanda's, try a shade like Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain in Berry ($17).
