As I'm writing these words, I'm watching Amy Adams on E! How cute is she? The nominated star of Doubt walked the red carpet in a dress of the same color, with an oversize statement necklace. With a standout ensemble like that, you can downplay the hair and makeup, which is exactly what Ms. Adams did. She wore her hair back and down in a low bun, a look that is both understated and classic. The same can be said for her makeup, especially her deeply lined eyes and simple melon-toned lips. Are you digging Amy's look as much as I'm loving her personality?

What the...? If you only line your eyes half way, why start at the inner corner and not the other way around? What was her make-up artist trying to accomplish? And sorry but I so don´t like the fact her dress is a vivid red colour, her hair is a slightly softer auburn red, and her lip colour is pink...

I have red hair and fair skin and there are ways to play up your features and there are ways to go overboard.... I think she went overboard.

Eh, nothing special. She always looks pretty and this is no exception but here I think her make up looks slightly poorly done :shrug:

Very, very pretty. I just wish she had held off a little on the bottom eyeliner.

i actually really love the hair/makeup. i know this isn't about her clothing, but i am not feeling that dress with the necklace/makeup. would have liked to see her in an electric blue, or even white.
