The Product That Gave Us Cara Delevingne’s Brows

My mother's primary beauty rule is this: you can go without makeup as long as your brows are filled in. There's something about thick, luscious brows that makes you appear more put together than you actually are. In fact, many different professional makeup artists have told me that brows are the one thing worth doing every day. So, until I can grow naturally bold arches à la Cara Delevingne, I'm using the Anastasia Dipbrow ($18).

This "brow pomade" comes in five different shades and is best applied with an angled brush. The cream is water resistant, so you won't have to worry about smudging your brows away in the middle of the day. Plus it blends well into those sparse spots whereas a pencil can leave holes. We're not going to give up our brow-growing efforts quite yet, but until we wake up with caterpillars, this will have to do.
