Angelina Jolie doesn't stray too far from her tried-and-true look: black eyeliner, nude lips, and long hair. It's no surprise, then, that she chose her standby look for the Oscars. The earrings, however, add a fun burst of color that makes this look a little more memorable. There's no question that she's beautiful as ever, but do you wish she'd experimented with a different look for the Oscars?

She looks great. I would like to see something different once in a while though. Although the earrings do add beautiful color to her black ensemble.

I think her makeup artist needs to be fired. In most of her pics her makeup looked plastered on and once again shiny in all the wrong places. She's got a gorgeous face, I don't understand why it looks like she has too much makeup on and yet not enough. :?

I love everything about Angelina last night. I find she was the epitome of grace and elegance. It seems as though she's comfortable with who she is, comfortable in her skin. Compared to her old wild days, you know? It just seems like she's found a balance and it comes out in her style. I love her! :)

She isn't really into experimenting and that's okay - if I looked as stunning as that I would stick to that look!!! But it would be really fun to see her do something else once in a blue moon :-)

of course i wanted her to try something a little more daring, but i thought she looked effortless tonight. she never wears much makeup, and i thought her face just lit that basic black dress up.

Part of what I adore about her is she doesn't conform to the norm. She knows what she likes, she look gorgeous in anything she wears, and she dosen't feel the need to be a fashion icon (although I consider her one!)

The Oscars are a perfect time to show off a new style. It's done by many every year. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I never liked the cat eyeliner on her. Maybe she'll let it go by next year.
