Anne Hathaway's Oscars Look: Love it or Hate It?

As ever, Anne Hathaway is proof that you don't need to go to tanning beds to be lovely in Los Angeles. Her porcelain skin looks absolutely flawless, and a little bit of powder makes her brows look perfectly groomed. And just when I expected an updo from Anne, she stepped out in a ponytail with soft, bouncy curls. And in case you missed it, Ryan Seacrest asked her about the Lancome fragrance she'll soon be promoting — but her lips were sealed. Guess we'll just have to wait for that piece of news. . .

This was meant to be seen from a distance, right? Close up it's too heavy and harsh. She's young--go softer!

She looks nice, although she could do that with even less makeup, I think. I fully approve of her alabaster skin - there's no need for lots of bronzer. Represent! :-p

I think she looks great. I do think she tends to play it a bit too safe at though. I like to see her with lighter eyeshadow and softer lips.

Overdone - somehow accentuates her dark thick eyebrows and large mouth. I imagine she looks better sans makeup.

Hate it. Why? Anne is one of the few natural beauties in hollywood. The heavy eyeliner and the deep red lips are too much. Less makeup is more beauty with Anne.
