BCBG Makeup and Fragrance Line

BCBG founder and designer Max Azria has announced that he plans to take a shot at the beauty industry, joining the ranks of Stella McCartney and Prada before him. His products will be a part of the BCBG Max Azria brand, and will include a signature fragrance, makeup, and skincare lines, all tentatively scheduled for a 2009-2010 release date.

While Azria is still shopping around for his chief financial backer for the endeavor, he does admit that he is "meeting with a big company next month." Could perhaps yet another Arden-sponsored deal be in the works? Only time will tell, but given BCBG's modern and feminine take on clothing, I am looking forward to seeing what Azria comes up with.
