Do You Have a Beauty Bad Habit?

A bad habit is an undesirable behavior pattern, like whipping out the credit card a bit too often during those late night infomercials or spending a mind boggling amount of time on the Wii. But what about beauty — do you have any bad habits you'd like to break? Whether it's pimple popping or nail biting, what's your worst vice? Such a delightful topic, no?

pimple popping, unfortunately. It's the worst. I actually have to make myself just walk away from the mirror to stop. But I do ALWAYS wash off my make-up at night. Even after a long night out at the bars, I know that these five minutes will save me in the morning. (and....what's worse than being hungover and rubbing off your crusty eye makeup?! ugh)

Ugh! I'm terrible for picking at split ends. I started a week ago...I'm going to try to stop because it's a terrible habit. Also I pick at my skin sometimes. You just don't realize until you think about these things...strange!

I'm a zit squisher. I don't touch the deep under the skin ones though, I let pimple cream sort them out. I also fall asleep with my makeup on, I don't wear foundation (it gives me more zips to squish) so I just wake up with panda eyes. Occasionally I also forget to moisturise.

i'm really bad about falling asleep without washing my makeup off. i've gotten better the past year, but lately i have been really tired and lazy when i get home late!

Wow. I just sat down with a bowl of rice and beans and completely lost my appetite after reading this. I do admire everyone's honesty. Fortunately I do none of these things. I have a strict skin regime, do not smoke, have never bitten my nails, and don't have split ends. Good luck!

I have cystic acne, the kind you're not supposed to pop EVER. But . . .I can't help it, they never go away! I've seriously had the same bumps forming a constellation on my forehead for years!

my worst beauty habits used to be smoking (nearly a pack a day) and not drinking ANY water. just my morning coffee and maybe a juice or ice tea with meals. but i quit smoking 9 months ago (hurray for the patch! for reals, it worked!) and i have been forcing myself to chug at least 3 bottles of water a day. i dunno if thats the recommended amount, but thats alot for me. since i started/stopped doing both, my skin looks glowy!

when I wasyounger, I'd do the pimple popping thing. but now, after all these years, I don't have that problem. however, the bad habit I have now is late night shopping on the computer trying to find the miracle in the jar. of course, spending way tooi much money. vanity and desperation!

I have super dry skin, so my cuticles tend to peel, and when I get nervous, I pick at them, sometimes until they bleed. I've done this for so long that I've almost given up on thinking I could quit it. It drives my husband up the wall.

i absolutely cannot resist the temptation to squeeze a pimple - i know i should leave it alone but i always end up squeezing it anyway! the temptation is just way too strong!
