Beauty Byte: Beyonce Will Be the Face of Armani's New Fragrance

There's been a flurry of fragrance news lately, and here's another interesting tidbit: Women's Wear Daily is reporting that Beyonce will be the face of Georgio Armani's next fragrance. The women's scent, called Emporio Armani Diamonds, will be released this Fall and backed by a Beyonce ad campaign.

The singer will appear in print ads and TV commercials, in which WWD says Beyonce will "sing her own rendition of a classic American song." I'm guessing "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." What do you think? Whatever the song, it sounds like a pretty major launch.

She'll go away when people stop buying her albums, concert tickets, etc. She is the biggest name out there, as far as female singers go. She's here to stay.
