Beauty Events For Fashion's Night Out (FNO) 2011

Your Guide to Beauty Events For Fashion's Night Out

This year, Fashion's Night Out is even bigger than last year's event — which, considering how difficult it was to move through the style-loving crowds, is saying something. Tomorrow, New York City will host hundreds of events that bring designers, stylists, celebrities, and fans together. The schedule of events is overwhelming, to say the least, so we're rounding up some of the beauty highlights. Chanel manicures, Swarovski updos, and a Backstreet Boy? Sign us up. See the top FNO beauty events after the jump.

Department stores

Saks always has tons of FNO deals and exclusives on the cosmetics floor — and we highly recommend stopping by between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to meet Estee Lauder Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux — but you can head upstairs for braids and manicures. Do get it twisted at Rebecca Minkoff's braid bar, then head to Marc by Marc Jacobs for nail art courtesy of Minx. Saks Fifth Avenue

If you've ever wanted to meet Oscar de la Renta, now's your chance. The legendary designer will sign his limited-edition palette by Le Métier de Beauté in Bergdorf's beauty department. Look for handsome hirsute hunks at "BG Whisker Wars," a roundtable that tackles the big men's grooming issue of the day: to shave or not to shave? 7:30-8:30 p.m., Bergdorf Goodman

Want to get the party started early? Lord & Taylor may have the earliest pre-FNO beauty bash. Beginning at noon, the cosmetics floor will be home to dozens of makeup artists ready to touch up your makeup. At 6 p.m., celebrity makeup artists from Dior and Lancôme will do their thing, while the Laura Mercier counter will offer airbrush makeup applications. Plus, free Fango facials from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Lord & Taylor, noon-11 p.m.

Macy's will host a slew of stars, but here are a few potential beauty-related sightings. Samantha Ronson will be spinning on the main floor to fete Gucci Guilty for Men, while Bobbi Brown is making a personal appearance on the cosmetics floor. Do stop by Lancôme to meet spokesmodel Arlenis Sosa, who is as funny as she is gorgeous. Up on the second floor, model Coco Rocha will show off the Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection. Macy's Herald Square

Milly designer Michelle Smith will be at the Clinique counter at Bloomingdale's, where she'll dish out fashion advice as makeup artists give color touch-ups. Spend $25 on Clinique and you'll score an exclusive Milly cosmetics bag stuffed with samples, too. Head to the seventh floor to check out the Diane von Furstenberg Home collection, where you can receive a henna tattoo. Bloomingdale's 59th St.

Swarovski Elements is offering a host of "FNO prep" beauty services at Henri Bendel. The Frederic Fekkai salon is providing Swarovski Elements manicures, sparkling updos, and more. Prices aren't firmed up yet, but you score primping services with the purchase of a Henri Bendel, Collette Malouf, or Jennifer Behr hair accessory. Henri Bendel, 3 p.m.
