Beauty Flashback: Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific

I'm too young to remember when Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific was on shelves, but gee, I can't imagine why a shampoo with a ridiculous name didn't stick around. Ah, but you can't keep a good thing down for long, which is why the shampoo and conditioner are back. I think I'll pass.

Isn't there already an entire line of kids shampoos that makes your hair smell like artificial fruit? Then, there's all the Suave, White Rain, and V05 shampoos with scented flavors. Seems like they've resurrected themselves just a little too late and for an incredibly ridiculous price ($9.95? jebus!)

I loved this stuff! My mom used to wash my hair with it when I was little and it really did smell great. It seems like sometime in the 80s and 90s the powers that be decided we wanted our hair to smell like a giant fruit bowl was dumped on our heads. This was much nicer.
