Keren Craig Talks Irises, Crystals, and Marchesa's First Scent

"We like to think that if you put on the scent, you'll be at your most beautiful.

"We like to think that if you put on the scent, you'll be at your most beautiful. Like putting on a Marchesa dress," said Marchesa cofounder Keren Craig about the brand's latest venture: Parfum D'Extase ($85). The perfume, which is encapsulated in a crystal-embossed bottle, contains notes of iris flower, young violet leaves, and lotus flower. It's a full, floral scent that's perfect for Spring. "For us, it was about trying to find the essence of our muse: very feminine, very sensual, and very beautiful," Karen explained.

The women of Marchesa, cofounder Georgina Chapman included, have been wanting to make their foray into the fragrance industry for some time, but it wasn't until they teamed up with Sephora that their dreams became a reality. The bottle fits in with the rest of Marchesa's exquisite aesthetic, as it's faceted to look like a crystal with tiny versions of the stones dotted down the center. "The crystal is a healing stone. We like that combination. It's something you'll want to put on your dressing table and look at." And who does Keren hope to see wearing this scent? "Every girl!" she said with a laugh. "We're never trend-led with our clothing. We like to create pieces that are really timeless. So I really hope that [Parfume D'Extase] crosses all different ages." Luckily for Marchesa, an elegant floral scent is something that's easy to love.

The wide-eyed blonde, who made a name for herself pre-ANTM as the Internet meme Creepy Chan, has frequently expressed her love of the macabre. And as an artist and photographer, her work often reflects this peculiar, offbeat feeling.

This year, Allison walked in designer Malan Breton's Fall 2012 show, and most recently, she's appeared in promotional photos for G Fine Body Art, a beauty brand that's set to launch glittery body art services at salons and spas starting later this Fall. Mrs. Meyer Shares 80 Years of Beauty Insight

Do you recognize this woman?

Do you recognize this woman? Her name may ring a bigger bell. She is Thelma Meyer, the inspiration behind the garden-scented brand Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day. From hand soaps to cleaning supplies, Mrs. Meyer's has been churning out eco-friendly products over 10 years, a result of Thelma's eldest daughter, Monica Nassif, wanting to create products free of harsh chemicals. Thelma turned 80 earlier this week, and to celebrate, the brand has released a limited-edition peony-scented hand soap and lotion set ($7) — peonies being Thelma's favorite scent. She also likes lavender and honeysuckle.

The muse behind the earth-friendly line still is surprised by the notoriety. "I can't believe women go crazy when they find out that I'm Mrs. Meyer," she says. "It's funny, and there's lots of smiles and picture taking." And like the products with her namesake, Thelma sticks to a "less is best" philosophy when it comes to beauty. But if there were one product for Mrs. Meyer's to create, what would it be? "Something that keeps the face moist, wrinkle-free, and in a constant smile," she quips.

Actress Alison Sweeney may be known for her longtime role as the oft-scheming Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives, as well as for her hosting gig on The Biggest Loser. But she also has one of the clearest, smoothest complexions on TV — and with good reason. "My mom was an advocate of healthy skin and sunscreen before it was fashionable," says Alison, who recently helped select the finalists for a modern-day Coppertone girl contest.

And while Alison reveals she doesn't have any special skin care rituals in particular, she does follow the same regimen each day: sunscreen (Coppertone's Oil Free Faces SPF 30) in the morning and a liberal application of moisturizer in the evening. If she could travel back and tell her 20-year-old self what to change, though, it would involve being more diligent with cleansing. "I wish I had known how important it is to wash your face every night before going to bed and remove all traces of makeup," she says. Sound advice for saving face.
