Beauty Mark It Results: A Pore Minimizer

After I posted last week's Beauty Mark It Challenge for a pore-minimizing product, I got a few friendly reminders that there is no way to actually shrink pores, only to minimize their appearance. But hey, we take what we can get, right? Reader insidesusan thinks that the Estée Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizer is the best, saying that it leaves her skin supremely smooth.

thoroughlymodern, I read that article. I believe Molly Sims said that, I guess it could work if you think about it. I usually just splash cold water after washing my face.

I have enlarged pores as well. I found Yonka Phyto 52 or even Phyto 58 was amazing to minimize the look of large pores. Also, Microdermabrasion and or Chemical Peels help alot too!

This is exactly what I need.Oh, um, ur_mom - I know what you mean. OK, I'm not sure about the other effects this would have on your skin, but....I read one of those magazine articles a WHILE back that talks to stars about their beauty routines. This girl said she rubs an ice cube over her face after she's washed to, well, shrink her pores basically. If you think about it, heat/steam open your pores, so cold would temporarily close (well, probably not CLOSE them). I just remember she said something like, "It's way cheaper than a facial!"I don't know how much credit I give her, though. It seems to me that it would depend. I would think that if you're applying some sort of treatment afterwards, that you'd want to keep them "open" so it could get in there. But I see the benefit of shrinking them if you're going to put on makeup or something that you wouldn't want to get into your pores.

But I wanna shrink my pores :'( Seriously though, I have huge pores on my nose (even my boyfriend made a comment) is there no way i can fix this? do i have to just "hide" it? cuz my weekly biore pore strips just aint doin the job!
