Girl power was the phrase on everyone's lips at The Hollywood Reporter's 22nd annual Women in Entertainment breakfast in LA yesterday — an event that honors the big names in the biz. But we were talking about the beauty looks spotted on top actresses and models. Said styles offered tons of holiday party inspiration, from Kim Kardashian's metallic gold eyeliner to Naya Rivera's seriously sexy eyelashes and Judy Greer's sherbet lip color. Check out our 10 favorites faces, and try out some of the trends tonight.

Pretty packaging gets us every time, which is why we're obsessed with the latest collaboration between perfumer Frédéric Malle and Liberty of London. The two brands are celebrating five years of collaboration, and to mark the occasion, Malle chose 18 different Liberty of London prints to redress his classic scents. The artwork ranges from geometric to floral, colorful to austere and highlights the synergy between sight and smell. Each box was hand selected by Malle to match the fragrance within, like Lipstick Rose (above), which is decked out in rich, red blooms. These limited-edition boxes will look amazing on your vanity or under the Christmas tree, and you won't want to throw out the wrapping! All the scents are available at Liberty of London and FredericMalle.com. We'll stop gushing now and bring on the product porn.

Some eyes may wander below the neck at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but we're gawking at the models' hair and makeup that only took hours to complete. If you wanted your close-up look at how to get Angel-worthy cheekbones and sexy hair, we've got all the looks here. So in case you don't get that perfect upfront view when the show hits your TV screen on Dec. 10, you'll have already seen it.
The sexiest event on television is happening tonight, and we have one more reason for beauty-lovers to tune in (aside from enviously sighing over Behati Prinsloo's abs or Alessandra Ambrosio's beach waves). Herbal Essences is debuting its Naked Collection to coincide with the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and the clean new scent makes us want to strip down and hit the shower.
"The mint is the central theme across all three of the lines, but what's really interesting is how we've enveloped this in with the other notes," explains Stacy Hertenstein, the brand's fragrance sommelier. Her team blended three scents to go with the three different lines in the collection: Volume, Moisture, and Shine. So no matter your hair type, there's a way to reinvigorate your strands with one of these sexy new scents. The packaging has taken on a fresh, new look, as well. The shampoo features clear bottles with dye-free formulas, and the styling products are packaged in crisp, white containers. You don't have to wait until next year to get your hands on this major drugstore launch: just head over to the presale happening now on HerbalEssences.com.
It turns out that Jennifer Aniston — aka one of the biggest hairstyle icons of our day — has a few celebrity hair crushes of her own. In an interview with Parade magazine, she said, "I think Gisele [Bündchen] has exquisite hair. That's a pretty envious head of hair. I love Kate Moss. She always has great hair."
Perhaps Jennifer misses her long locks since she recently chopped off her length in favor of a chic bob. Jennifer, Gisele, and Kate all have some of the best hair in Hollywood, but we want you to fess up and tell us whose mane you love the most in the poll below!
Turns out our favorite female celebrities aren't the only ones sporting extensions. Daniel Radcliffe appeared on the UK's Graham Norton Show with surprisingly long hair. "It's like you have to pull back a curtain to talk to me," he quipped, joking about his chin-length bob. When asked if it was his own hair, Daniel replied, "It's hair, I assume, from a dead person or someone who donated their hair." Daniel's new hair addition is for his latest role as Igor in Frankenstein, which stars James McAvoy in the titular role. Will he keep the hair after shooting is done? Only time will tell.
Lea Michele is a scene-stealer for many reasons: Her chills-inducing pipes, her role as the fearless Rachel Berry on Fox’s hit show Glee, and, of course (for us beauty fanatics), her gig as the face of L’Oréal Paris hair care. So it’s no surprise that the cover art for her first solo album, Louder (out March 4), shows the triple threat in a strong, of-the-moment beauty look. Hair pro Mark Townsend created her wet bed head (which we already know is a major trend for Spring 2014), and makeup master Melanie Inglessis gave her an ultrasmoky, smudgy eye.
Typically, a hair care commercial is packed with bouncing ringlets and strategic product placement, but a new ad from Pantene Philippines takes an entirely different route (and it's pretty awesome). The campaign brings up the very real issue of gender discrimination in the workplace: in it, a woman working overtime is considered "selfish" for neglecting family responsibilities, while a man in a similar situation is labeled "dedicated." The tagline — "Don't let labels hold you back. Be strong and shine." — inspires major feelings of girl power (and hair power!).
This year alone, women have been taking more heat for their appearance in the office. Remember the Iowa woman who was fired for being "too pretty"? Even at the elementary level, females are having to explain their styling choices, like the 7-year-old girl who had to leave school because the administrators didn't approve of her distracting dreadlocks. Does the way we look really influence the way we work? Not at all.
We have to say that while a model shaking her perfectly styled coif is pleasing to the eye, this commercial sends a stronger message — one about having it all, including a gorgeous blowout. Here in the States, women still earn 77 cents to every dollar a man receives. And overseas in Europe, female employees take home about $266 a week less than their male counterparts, according to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Perhaps Pantene can tackle that issue in its next advertising spot. For now, we're sending this video to all our girlfriends in the office for a little midweek encouragement.
Tell us: do you think this commercial sends the right message about women in the workplace?
