Since perfumers Kristin Becker and John Eshaya both got their start in the fashion world, it's no wonder why their first eponymous fragrance launched as a light, citrusy-summer scent, and their second fragrance is called
Golden Amber. Launched in August, it's a stronger and more wintry fragrance with notes of bergamot, jasmine, lychee, cashmere wood, sandalwood, patchouli, and musk. (Like I said, it's a heavier scent.) It's bottled in heavy faceted glass designed to resemble a luxurious diamond capped in gold.
It comes in a 2.03 oz eau de parfum ($75), in a smaller eau de parfum ($45), and as a scented candle ($40). I can't wait to check this out, especially because you won't smell it on everyone. I love that this is a little-known brand. (For example, it sells only at Bergdorf Goodman in all of New York.) So if you are in the market for a truly unique, sophisticated scent, this may be a great option for you.
