Bella Brand: Perfumeria Gal

Perfumeria Gal sounds like some sort of oddball superhero ("Save us, Perfumeria Gal! Save us with your super spritz!"). But it's not. Instead, it's a Madrid-based beauty brand that's been around for more than a century. Its lip balms recently caught my eye because of their amazing Art Nouveau tin containers. There's something old-timey and mysterious about them, no?

The balms are available in six scents: strawberry, apple, peach, red currant, and violet. Plus, they're affordably priced at just $6. What do you think—is this your style?

i've used this lip balm before but didn't like it because it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. but i absolutely loved the scent and the packaging

I have loved these for some time. I usually find them in some pretty random places. Don't forget banana flavor! I have this in my yellow bathroom!

Love these things, have the Red Currant and a mint-flavored one. They're very moisturizing and can usually be found at sephora or anthropologie.

These are superb looking, just my style I'm of Spanish decent. I would put them out for all to see. I know where I'm spending my Cmas $$. I want one of each. And to sillysugar I'm not a fan of finger dipping either, but I have a solution - use a lip brush. They make them retractable so you can tote them around. I used Mary Kay for many years (ago) and their lipstick only came in pots where a brush is a must. Try it with your pot glosses I think you'll like it. P.S.--very jealous of those of you who've been to Spain.

I had something of a makeup emergency when I went to Seville last year (had managed to forget lipstuff... how??) and grabbed the apple flavour of this because it was cheap and cute - I love it!

these make great little gifts for friends. i never actually started using this till recently, but i used to give it away all the time and my friends use to rave about it. now i've tried it i am in love with it too. i'm just not the biggest fan of sticking my finger into a balm pot especially if i haven't washed my hands and i'm on the go or something. :P hahahaha. i'm a clean freak :P but its a good balm to keep around the house (where you can always be sure your hans are clean! hahahahaha)

i love Perfumeria Gal! i bought a large tin of 5 or 6 little pots of lip gloss last year for part of gifts for my friends. they love it, too! i recommend it.

I'm a lip balm-a-holic and this is definitely one of my favs. Seven years ago a friend, who was living in Madrid at the time, sent me this lip balm in pear flavor. I used every last drop. Sadly they don't make the pear flavor anymore. I highly recommend!
