Bella Brand: Soap & Glory

I'm sure a lot of you know the name Marcia ("mar-see-ya") Kilgore. Eleven years ago, she founded Bliss spa. Now she has a new, lower-priced product line called Soap & Glory. Already available in England, it's rumored to be making its way to Target stores soon.

Much as she did with Bliss, Marcia is coming up with some very punny names for this new line. A shea butter moisturizer is called The Righteous Butter, while a creamy shower gel is named Clean on Me. Then there's Sexy Mother Pucker, a plumping lip gloss. Like the names, the packaging is kitschy—not to mention vaguely reminiscent of Benefit's, no?

I totally got the mother plumper its awesome it makes ur lips feel all tingly its wayy intense... But for a little tube of it not reallly worth it... It was 10.99 but it tasts good n smellls good too tho...

I am in love with this product! My only complaint - it seems as though Target stocks only a few each month. I wanted to load up to no avail. My legs are pretty toned and athletic so I'm not sure if it really works, but the lotion itself is so smooth and cooling. Try it right after you shave. It's wonderful! I couldn't find it anywhere else. Anyone have any hints on where else to find it? I had heard Barneys would carry it but couldn't find it this morning.

I've tried the lipgloss and the body butter; the lipgloss really plumps and adds incredible shine; it lasts ages it tingles like MAD for about 10 minutes; I love that but I guess that depends on you.The butter is quite light and has a lovely smooth texture; it moisturizes well and smells great but doesn't quite give that "silky" touch it gaurentees.I'm getting them soon; on the 27th to be exact; can't wait. Wish I had money now! (:Me and my sister are huge fans!They both retail at £8 (around $16 I think)I laaaav them!!

I saw it and just bought some shimmer lotion yesterday as a matter of fact. I love it. It smells pretty and I love the packaging. The lotion I bought leaves a soft glow on my skin. It seems like a good product line.

i work in targets (not for, in!) and have been seeing this, i smelled the bath soap and lotion and really wasnt impressed. its kinda floralish and powdery. not at all like bliss's crisp lemony smell. cute packaging though!

Bella, this range is not just available in England, it's available throughout the UK in most of the bigger Boots outlets. I love this range, far better than Bliss anyday.

I bought the Body Butter today! It smells so good--very vintage very much like Benefit but cheaper. I like it a lot and would be willing to try the other beauty items, like the gloss! :D

its strange that its at target, because on the website it says that its selling at barneys co-op! anyway, if its cheaper and just as good as the bliss stuff...i will be very very very happy. :)

I just saw this at Target a few days ago!! I thought the same thing about it looking like a rip off of Benefit!! Probably a lot cheaper!!! I'll have to check it out in detail next time I'm in Target!

seen it, but don't know how i feel about it. i have to use completely hypoallergenic or all-natural skin care products, so anytime i see something like this i kind of have to ignore it because it'll just give me a rash. it's depressing. i do enjoy the packaging and the fun titles, though. i want to be a product namer something awful!
