Bella Poll: Do You Use Your Significant Other's Razor?

The other day while perusing the beauty blogs, I laughed out loud when Rachel over at Lucky sung the praises of her boyfriend's Gillette Mach3 Razor ($8.79).

You see, earlier that day there had been some minor drama with Mr. Bella over using his Mach3. "I can't help myself," I told him. It does leave some amazing soft and smooth results. He agreed.

Technically, sharing blades is probably not the best idea, but in the long run, we share a whole lot more than that anyway. So, fill me in — do you "borrow" your significant other's razor or do you stick to your own shaver?

Answered "no" b/c I bought my own! Then, they came out w/ the Quattro for women. It's hot pink w/ 4 blades. Now I have both! :flower:

actually we both use mach 3's, but when we travel we only bring one stem and just bring a package of the razor blades....kinda handy...

Men's razors (like Shick Quattro) are hands down better than women's shavers. I can't figure out why. I keep buying different woman's razors because I think they will look cuter in my shower, but nope. I always go back to men's. That said I don't use my husband's shaver because we each have our own bathroom so I'm not even sure where he keeps his.

I used the Mach3 when it first came out, then I was persuaded to get the Venus because it was "ergonomically designed for a woman." THEN I was persuaded to get the women's Quattro because OMG it has four blades!!

I don't think it is ahappierdiane. My mom got on me and my cousin when we shared razors since she had crappy ones that took forever and also kept cutting her.

i loved my husband's mach 3 and borrowed it so often that i eventually went out and bought my own. i have tried EVERY razor for women out there and NOTHING compares with it. we buy blades in bulk, it saves money not having to buy two different blades all the time. --want an even closer shave, steal his shaving gel! gillette fusion leaves my legs so soft i find myself absentmindedly touching them --LOL :P

LOL. I always use men's razors to shave, and I've been trying to convert my female friends ... mens razors are just superior! They don't believe me though.

I do in emergency situations, but the boy is not a fan of leg hair in his razor. Like Cory :)

This reminds me of a Boy Meets World episode where Topanga uses Cory's razor to shave her legs, and he gets positively DISGUSTED, but tells her he finds it very "...uh, sexy (coughing fit)" to spare her feelings.

It almost makes me mad that there are such GOOD products out for men and the female equivalent of those products are watered-down and wimpy. Like the Mach 3...I LOVE IT! But the girly equal, the Venus, sucks. I use men's deodorant (Gilette...thank God they finally made it in a female fragrance) because the stuff they make for girls is wimpy and doesn't do squat to prevent me from getting stinky. And don't even get me started on how much more soft and comfortable mens' clothes are compared to the same items of women's clothing.

I will only use my husband's razor if I'm running late and need to swipe the razor over my underarms super quickly. I like the female version of the Mach 3, the Venus. It fits in my hand better, not so heavy.

Ditto, NYC. My hubby got so fed up that he just bought me my own.
