The Best Orange Lipsticks

Trend Alert: Orange Lips

8

Orange is back again in a big way. This time it's appeared on the lips of models at shows as diverse as Herve Leger, Vena Cava, and Richard Chai. Orange-red shades have been all over celebrities' lips for the last few weeks, too, so this one is almost guaranteed to be big. You don't have to be an heiress or celebrity to wear the shade well, though, so I've curated a bunch of beautifully orange-y options for you, ranging from cheap and chic to totally luxe. Just check out the widget below for some beautifully bright options:

It looks fun, fresh, youthful and modern. Not everyone can pull off anything that is associated with those adjectives. I love this look.

I love the idea of this look, but it only seems to work on the runway. I'm going to avoid the full-on version of this trend, but it has inspired me to use more bright peachy and coral colors this spring. I think that's the only way for this one to be truly flattering in real life.

I love the idea of this, and I love the color; but "flattering?" I don't think so - look at the fact that, despite it being shown on three very different skin tones and with three different hair colors, it still looks clownish and cartoonish...

I think I will bow out of this trend.
