Nicole Richie and Maggie Gyllenhaal were the makeup risk-takers of the Oscar bunch, but there were also plenty of classically pretty looks, too. And while many ladies dazzled on the red carpet, the following stars topped our list of favorite makeup looks last night. From Charlize Theron's red-orange lipstick to Queen Latifah's smoky lids, which look deserves your nod for best makeup on Hollywood's biggest night?

I picked Zoe although Rachel looked flawless. Zoe just had more of a "look" to her makeup
1Queen Latifah had really good smoked eyes but Rachel's lipstick, cheek, and eye color was all a great blend.
2I loved Charlize's red lips, so I picked her. Rachel also looked flawless, but I loved Charlize's risk taking (except that muffin-boob Easter dress, yikes!) I didn't like Penelope's dark black line at all, it seemed like too much for her dark eyes and already over the top (albeit amazing!) dress.
3I didn't really care for Rachel's look, it was very blah.
Zoe was perfection as far as makeup - although having amazing skin is probably a big factor.
4Kristen Stewart has the most beautiful skin in the world. I don't know if she wears make-up or not. She is always so beautiful and at last night's Oscars, she was absolutely stunning. Love you girl!!!
5This is gonna sound weird but I loved Miley Cyrus make up.

I agree with anonymous. I loved Miley Cyrus' makeup. It was gorgeous!
7Not pictured - Nicole Richie's makeup was flawless; gave a new "look" or old look depending on one's perception. I remember the days when girls in my high school would extend the eye shadow (dark color under eyebrow, lighter contrasting color under it) to the temple... Made for a "cat's eye" - Although, I think they were going for a Cleopatra look.

10I love Charlize Theron's eyebrows but I voted for Zoe Saldana because I thought that she had the best overall make-up look.

15I liked almost everyone's hair and makeup, with the exception of Nicole Richie (I know everyone else just loooved it, but I thought too much hair, too much makeup). I also didn't like Charlize's or Sandra's lipstick - neither were the right shade for their skin tone and hair color. As for best of the night, the one's that stood out were Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldana, Helen Mirren, and Rachel McAdams...
