Recently, two films have featured entire facial reconstructions that resulted in zero scarring. First, there were those weird "twins" and the villainous brother in Sherlock Holmes 2, and then there was Antonio Banderas's victim in The Skin I Live In, a movie about a plastic surgeon who kidnaps a man and turns him into a replica of his dead wife.
"The result, played by actress Elena Anaya, is not just scar-free, but by most conventional standards, super hot," Dr. Reese jokes. "In reality, extensive plastic surgery cannot be achieved without significant scarring." Basically, Face Off is still quite a ways in the future.
