Betsey also promises that "It ain't gonna be au natural, sweet, foodlike — like chocolate — [or] patchouli." And she declares that it will bring the menfolk a-running. "If I don't get compliments [on a fragrance], if guys don't like it, I throw it out the window," she says. Only a few people got the chance to smell the original Betsey Johnson boutique-only scent from the '80s, but if you'd like to, you'll have your chance soon, because the design house has teamed up with fragrance maker Inter Parfums for a new perfume that Betsey says is "as close as we could [get to the original formula]."
