10 Makeup Finds That Will Give You Beyoncé's Goddess Glow
Beyoncé never fails to give us stunning beauty inspiration we can wear IRL, and her Super Bowl makeup was no different. The master behind her "Hawaiian meets Cleopatra"-inspired dewy skin and ombré eyes, Sir John, spilled all the details on how he created her face (making it even easier to look like the Queen). The best part about her performance style is that you probably already own most of the appropriate makeup to DIY at home. Scan your kit for all the right tools and read on for the complete breakdown on how to achieve her winning look.
Eyes
Sir John started Beyoncé's look by applying a matte terracotta eyeshadow on her eyelids. Pick the Corduroy shade from the Lorac Pro Matte Palette ($28) for a similar base.
He added a rust shadow in the middle of her lids and created a custom copper shade with Mehron's liquid transformer ($10) to top it off with a glossy finish. Try Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Baked ($19) and Make Up Forever Artist Eyeshadow in Rust ($21).
Sir John lined Bey's eyes with a coffee-colored eyeliner. Try Urban Decay 24-7 Glide-On Pencil in Underground ($20) for almost identical lines.
To finish her eye-grabbing look, he added a few coats of black mascara on fake falsies with the Kevyn Aucoin Volume Mascara ($28).
Complexion
To keep Beyoncé's complexion shine-free, Sir John used a mattifying liquid foundation. Use the Matifying Fluid Foundation from Black Up to pefect your skin ($42).
To keep her skin matte while adding definition, he dusted a highlighting powder to her T-zone. This Marc Jacobs #InstaMarc Light Filtering Contour Powder ($49) will do the same for you.
He contoured her eyelids, cheeks, and jawline with a taupe blush, and applied bronzer to her forehead. Focus this NARS blush ($30) on those points to really make your face pop.
A golden luminizer was applied at the high points of her cheeks for a glowing finish. Gold Deposit ($32) by MAC makes an awesome addition to your everyday strobing routine.
Lips
Her lips were amplified with a deep brown lip pencil like this Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Foxy Brown ($22).
A neutral nude lipgloss ($13) was applied to finish off her pout. Sir John gently dabbed the center of her smile to create glowing dimension.
