Bella Brand: Billy Jealousy

Here's one for the boys. I've just discovered a brand of men's hair, face, shaving and body cosmeceutical products that I think you'll find pretty hip. And I know guys will like them because while researching the brand, photos of scantily clad women appeared all over the place. Because, you know, taking care of your skin makes women in bikinis jump out at you.

Pat Parsi, founder and president of Billy Jealousy, launched the male grooming brand in 2004 in Texas. Pat believes that "good grooming = confidence = power." Almost four years later, the brand has more than twenty products in the range, including a fragrance called Illicit.

The most recent product launches are Liquidsand, an exfoliating facial cleanser ($24) and White Knight, a hydrating facial cleanser for normal to dry skin ($20). What I especially like about the brand is that in addition to having pretty reasonable price points, for every product sold, a portion of the proceeds go to a charity that supports either the arts, the environment or human needs.

Also the products are considered to be cosmeceuticals which in essence means that they work to clean and moisturize the surface of the skin, but they also contain active ingredients like retinol and salicylic acid that reach the deeper levels to improve the skin's overall health and condition.
