Blake Lively Goes Red: Love It or Hate It?

For years now, Blake Lively has been known for her signature blond hair (which once even drew comparisons to "The Rachel"), but now, Blake's switched it up entirely, debuting this stunning copper shade at Time magazine's Most Influential People in the World party tonight in New York. It certainly has an Ariel-esque quality about it, and undoubtedly will have heads turning, but are you digging Blake's brand-new red-hot coiffure?

i think the color itself is good, but it doesn't fit with her skintone. and not very happy to see everyone becoming a ginger..

It looks great...if you staple your eyes shut. She looks best with blonde hair.

I agree with you, curLRocker. It will be nice to see the actual color once it's not up against a red backdrop. Apparently she went red for a role, so I just can't see her keeping it for all that long. Regardless, it's fun.

I totally agree with Claire Underwear, this looks like a Kool-Aid dye job. I don't doubt she looks bad as a redhead, but I think a different shade of red would be better. This looks very faded and strange to me.

I wish she wasn't standing against that red background. I feel like we could get a better feel for how this suits her if it were a neutral background.But otherwise, I don't hate it! ;)

I don't think it works with her skin tone either, and I'm surprised so many people like it. I hope it's for a role (or maybe I don't; she's a terrible actress haha), and I hope she goes back to blond soon...

Having been both blonde and redhead, I am suddenly tempted to go redder again.. I love it. And it's not too dark of a red, which is quite nice on her; it almost reminds me of a light henna wash...
