Bobbi Brown is getting in on the philanthropy game yet again, but this time, she's expanding her reach worldwide. To celebrate International Women's Month, Brown is launching her Pretty Powerful Campaign For Women and Girls. As part of the campaign, she is releasing a limited-edition Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge ($25), a delicate pink blush that works on a variety of skin tones. Through the sale of the rouge, along with donations via GlobalGiving.org, Brown will raise money for Dress For Success.

Every penny of the US proceeds of the Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge will go toward Dress For Success. "Makeup alone cannot even the playing field for women and girls across the world," Brown said. "But I believe that together, those who create, apply, buy, and wear makeup can." Want to learn more about the campaign? Just watch Brown's video, and listen to her talk about the campaign.

What We're Sweet On: Travel Makeup Brushes That Act Like the Real Deal

The problem with travel-sized makeup brushes is that they're either too flimsy to do anything of worth, or they're so tiny, they just don't stack up to the effectiveness of their full-sized counterparts.

The problem with travel-sized makeup brushes is that they're either too flimsy to do anything of worth, or they're so tiny, they just don't stack up to the effectiveness of their full-sized counterparts. Not so with the four brushes contained within Bobbi Brown's Desert Twilight mini brush set ($55). The reason is because these brush heads are closer to full-sized, making it easier to pick up, distribute, and blend everything from your blushes to eyeliners. (It's actually the handles that put the mini in these minimakeup application tools.)

The kit (which comes with a metallic, faux-leather case) includes blush, angled eye shadow, eye sweep, and eyeliner brushes that are built to last. Now if Bobbi would just add a concealer and eyebrow brushes in the mix, you'd have pretty much all the brush basics covered.

Now There's Hope For Your Favorite Discontinued Makeup Shades

If you adored a Bobbi Brown makeup shade that got discontinued, here's some excellent news.

If you adored a Bobbi Brown makeup shade that got discontinued, here's some excellent news. On Feb. 1, the makeup brand is launching its Bobbi Brings Back campaign on Facebook. Fans are getting the chance to revive their favorite discontinued shades; lip color is the first product they're bringing back, but soon the campaign will also tackle blush, eye shadow, and other "hero" products.

"It's important to me that I'm always listening to my fans," Brown says. "This is an opportunity for me to show my Facebook followers that I appreciate all of their support over the years and thank them. We're bringing back classic Bobbi Brown lip colors solely based on what the fans want." Voting closes on Feb. 29, and the lip colors with the most votes will be available this Fall. They'll only be for sale to Bobbi Brown Facebook fans, though, so if you want to get your hands on them, you'll have to like their page.

According to Trulia, Makeup mogul Bobbi Brown is the proud new owner of a sleek duplex penthouse in West Chelsea's art district. Bobbi purchased the 2,524-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo for $4.8 million. Designed by Della Valle Bernheimer, the spanking new, full-service building is just steps away from Chelsea Piers, the Hudson River Park, and Avenues School.

From the looks of the building, Bobbi's preference for a fresh face with natural looking makeup extends to her taste in architecture and interior design. Her new home features a host of minimal but exquisitely designed appliances, fixtures and finishes including custom-designed pieces by Rifra, Lualdi frame-less doors, oak floors and a mix of white lacquered and ebonized cabinetry.

The large elevator opens directly into an entry overlooking an expansive living room. An eat-in kitchen flooded with natural light is stocked with top notch appliances from Sub Zero and Thermador & Bosch. The master bedroom feels a bit more reclusive, nestled in a separate wing of the apartment. It includes a private bathroom with a stylish tub, separate shower, his and her sinks, and a heated tile floor. Aside from walls of large windows covering the apartment, an outdoor terrace provides stunning city views.

Chic Twists and Braided Buns at Rachel Roy

Spring 2012 Fashion Week has produced some of the most wearable makeup and hairstyles around, and now you can place Rachel Roy's Spring 2012 show beauty look in your must-try file.
Rachel Roy Spring 2012: Backstage Beauty

Spring 2012 Fashion Week has produced some of the most wearable makeup and hairstyles around, and now you can place Rachel Roy's Spring 2012 show beauty look in your must-try file. Inspired by the modern, Asian influences seen in Rachel's collection, hair guru Ted Gibson developed a style that was a mix between both masculine (the sleekness at the front) and feminine (the twisted, braided bun).

He began by prepping the models' hair with his brand's Fix It Gel. Once the hair was blow-dried, he created a side part, twisted the sides back, and then braided the hair into a bun at the nape; Tame It lotion provided shine, while Beautiful Hold hair spray kept it all in place. A big silver barrette attached at the back proved to be a chic finishing touch.

For the makeup, Bobbi Brown went for a more monochromatic look, with Rose Gold lip gloss ("It looks good on everyone," Brown says) on the lips and Rose Gold eye shadow (available for Spring) on the lids. Various shades in the Bronze Shimmer Brick were applied to the eyes to adapt the color based around the models' skin tones. And if you're not one for dramatic daytime makeup looks, do what Brown did for the show: in lieu of liner, use an intensive black mascara (her version is out in Spring) to bring out the eyes and provide contrast to the pink tones.
