Botox Might Be Aging If Used Incorrectly
Can Botox Make You Look Older?
by Miriam Lacey 6
Most Botox users I know love the stuff because they feel fresher and smoother-skinned with it, but some users and doctors say that for women over 40, the drug can actually make you look haggard. Apparently, when overused or put in incorrectly, botulinum-based injectables can cause sagging, and we've all seen people who have too much and now just look totally unnatural.
To me, this seems mostly like a surfeit of the product being put in by physicians and aestheticians who don't pay attention to an individual's facial structure. But do you agree? From what you've seen, is Botox actually capable of aging people?
