Hey it's Kirby, and this week innovative braids took center stage at some of the biggest red carpets, and we have the scoop in today's Beauty Beat. So let's get things started. When it comes to fashion, model Elettra Weidemann knows a thing or two. but her sweet French braided look at CFDA Awards Monday, proved she has a knack for beauty as well. The swept up hairstyle added faux-ho flair to her egg Rachel Roy dress and showed off her gorgeous statement earrings. It's a perfectly polished memorable look for a hot summer night. Next up, Candice Swanepoel made a came in at CFDA Awards as well in a pale Valentino gown, but all eyes were on her hair. The Dutch braid pulled all of her hair up, which complemented her gorgeous face. and the double Dutch look created a laid back, artistic style which is fitting for the evening setting. This look is easy to recreate if you're familiar with the Dutch braid. Just part your hair on the side curl it and then braid on each side of the part. Finally, 90210's Jessica Stroup went for a more casual, laid back look at Colgate's Optic White beauty bar this weekend, leaning for a messier, on the go look which complemented her dress-down attire. She left some hair out of the up-do, creating a natural unfussy braid. This hairstyle really highlights her jawline while adding a flirty schoolgirl look. Braids are a fresh creative addition to any up-do and the perfect summertime hairstyle. whether you're on the red carpet or lounging by the pool. I'm Kirby, and thanks for watching Bella Sugar TV.
