The bottle was Brazilian Blow out - but the treatment he used shown in the bowl is not the Brazilian Blowout formula - Brazilian Blowout formula is white - this formula was brown - I too am a Brazilian Blowout Stylist

Coppola contains aldehyde which is just a derivative of formaldehyde. It looks like this treatment could actually be quite dangerous to your health (and it is not yet regulated by the FDA). I think that this post should at least reference these dangers.

Wait, I want to hear more. I heard that even the 'no formaldahyde' treatments contain another chemical that has a similar structure to formaldahyde but is synthetic (thus still dangerous). I really want this but am super concerned about bad effects. I also heard that salons will also say that they have no formaldahyde but cheaper salons will lie about this. Any thoughts? Where did you get this done?

What's with the false advertising? I thought Beverly Hills Salons were supposed to be great. Like 2 commenters above said, they are advertising one service and using a different one. How is this even LEGAL??

I have fine hair, and after the second time I did the Brazilian blowout my hair started falling out!

I don't know where the information was misconstrued, but the treatment shown here was NOT Brazilian Blowout. The video even shows the bottle of a DIFFERENT BRAND. What's that about?

It looks like the treatment you received was the Coppola Keratin Complex, not the Brazilian Blowout. They are two different treatments. Coppola Keratin has to be left in for 72 hours with no ponytails or hairties to avoid denting the hair for the duration of the treatment, and no washing so the treatment has time to penetrate the hair fully. The Brazilian Blowout is washed out while you are IN the salon, that is the main way to tell the difference. Neither contains formaldehyde, so both are worth checking out!

I had it done about a month ago, so far so good. I wash my hair everyday since I work out. I have fizzy hair and the fizz factor is almost gone. Hopefully it will last 3-5 months but I think it will be closer to 3 months. Mine cost $250 but I have short hair and didn't go to Beverly Hills.

This is just the Brazilian straightening/ keratin straightening process... nothing to new or crazy. Her hair is straight so i don't understand why she needs to de-frizz it?

hmmmm, i have heard conflicting reports of wether this product contains formaldahyde or not. here is a forum where this is discussed. apparently the ingredient list is veeerrryy vague on the product. http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/showthread.php?t=83009

Is it true that your hair starts to fall out for some if you do it for a second time? and can anyone tell me if it's a bad idea to do this on fine hair?
