I've never really liked crimps much, i think it can look okay depending on if it-s done very subtlety, like a few strand of hair crimped, or going for a softer look with larger crimps instead of the really small ones. The looks just looks like and obvious manufactured attempt at waves in hair.

I love it. I used to have a crimping iron when I was younger and I crimped my Barbie's hair and ruined it lol.
