Jan 7 2014 - 4:30pm

If you're anything like us, you've been counting the minutes until Girls returns to the small screen. While the premiere of the series isn't until Sunday, a bevy of New Yorkers came out to show their support for the show's third season last night. And the hair and makeup didn't disappoint. Red lips, gorgeous updos, and a hair accessory from one of the girls in the cast were just the tip of this hair-and-makeup iceberg. Ready for more? Scroll on!

We've seen Lena Dunham work her short hairstyle on multiple red carpets, but this slicked, deep side part was a fun take on her crop. A brush of metallic black shadow and some mascara added some drama to her makeup palette.

Jemima Kirke's candy-apple-red lipstick was the perfect counterbalance to her champagne shadow and thick black eyeliner.

Embracing the bohemian vibe we've come to expect from her, Jemima swept her waves into a piecey bun.

Casual chic seemed to be Zosia Mamet's inclination at the premiere, where she styled her ombré locks in tousled waves. Her makeup was focused on brushed-up brows and red lipstick — a simple, two-step beauty look that is always a winner.

Always the glamour girl, Allison Williams stuck to feminine hues with her makeup: glistening nudes, rosy pinks, and matte rose shades.

The real centerpiece of Allison's style of the night, however, was her hair. Slicked back into a low bun, her strands were adorned with an elaborate hair accessory [2] with sparkling crystals and pink pearls.

Hilary Rhoda was giving us serious skin envy at the premiere, where her pink lipstick and angelic bun were the perfect complement to her porcelain complexion.

We're used to seeing Karlie Kloss with a sexy smoky eye, but at the Girls premiere, she kept things more neutral. Brown eye shadow, subtle contouring, and a creamy nude lip hue enhanced her natural beauty in an effortless way.

Erin Fetherston's low bun was giving us serious ideas for our second-day hair.

There was no shortage of dramatic hair once Danielle Brooks came down the carpet. Her beautiful braided style was paired with deep lipstick and a sexy smoky eye.

June Ambrose proved that navy can absolutely be neutral when she swept it across her eyes — we almost mistook it for thick black liner!

Rebecca Minkoff stuck to her signature beauty look: straight hair, subtle liner, and a swipe of pink on her lips.

Natasha Lyonne must have been inspired by Kate Middleton, because her blowout was practically perfect. With hair so gorgeous, all she needed was a little liner and a nude lip for her makeup.
