Kirsten Dunst's side-parted wavy hairstyle was the perfect counterbalance to her formal Louis Vuitton gown. After washing her hair, celebrity hairstylist Diego Da Silva saturated her strands from roots to ends with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray. To create maximum lift at the root, Da Silva blew Kirsten's hair dry with a round brush.
To form the soft waves in Kirsten's style, he used a medium-size curling iron from midshaft to ends. Once the hair cooled, he spritzed it with Sebastian Professional Halo Mist for shine and Sebastian Professional Shaper for hold.
"We wanted Kirsten's makeup vibe to be a girl who hangs at the Mudd Club," said makeup artist Pati Dubroff. "A cool downtown girl who doesn't try at all but is the epitome of cool." For lids, Dubroff added a touch of Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Emerveillé ($36) topped with lip balm for a greasy effect. The highlight of the look was the matte red lip. It started with a layer of Chanel Rouge Allure Matte Lip Color in Le Somptueuse ($34), followed by a brown lip liner and matte brown eye shadow to give the lip extra dimension.
