"For skin, I wanted it to look as if Emma had spent a day at the beach — slightly sun-kissed with a flush of color on her cheeks," explained Chanel celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.

To do this, Goodwin applied foundation two shades darker than Emma's skin tone, and added cream blush (Chanel's Powder Blush in In Love) to the apples of the cheeks.
