There's something marine about Siren ($55), Paris's latest scent, and it's definitely a departure from her previous fruity candy overload fragrances. Maybe it's an ozonic note, but whatever it is, it adds a complexity that's somehow edgy in a scent that is otherwise a trite exercise in Bath & Bodyworks-style fruits. Scents like this have a forte—they make nice body lotions, they're usually light and easy to wear—but for the money, you can get something with more character. Still, nice to see something different from Paris.
