Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to make a bad hair day insanely appealing. At the label's couture show in Paris, models were sent down the runway sporting one of two hairstyles: a matted, folded take on a French twist, and a picture-frame-esque updo that was accented with a headband. To create the style, models' hair was twisted up the crown of the head and secured with pins. A headband kept things smooth.
Makeup was dramatic, which we've come to expect from Chanel. A thick cat eye was drawn parallel to a wide stripe of silver glitter under the models' eyes. The rest of the palette was simple, focusing on thick brows and barely there pink lipstick.
