Hit up Instagram and one trend that doesn't seem to quit? Gorgeous photos of unkempt, sexy hair. It's a little Kate Moss bed head, a little beach babe, and a touch of '70s flair.

While it might look like stars and runway models rolled out of bed to get this look, think again! Everyone knows it takes effort to look undone, silly. That's where Jon Reyman comes in. His work has been seen at endless New York Fashion Weeks, in Vogue, and on celebrities like Sienna Miller and Lana Del Rey. Jon is also the former artistic director of Aveda Advanced Academy in New York and currently owns Spoke & Weal salon in Los Angeles and San Francisco. (He's not busy or anything.) That being said, he knows how to create cool-girl hair, and it starts with a trend that took over the Spring 2015 runways: the Bend.

Bendy hair actually takes effort, I learned. Jon taught me how to create the look with a flatiron and gave me a few other techniques to get the look.
