We never saw her this dressed up on American Idol, but for tonight's red carpet, Crystal Bowersox chose an emerald, one-shouldered gown. Though she didn't ditch the dreads, she dresses up the look with a few silver jewels and an elegant black clutch. Thoughts?

She has the best dreads I've ever seen. and she wears them well. I think she looked stunning...She is a cutie pie and a REALLY great person. I MET HER..not to mention...THAT GIRL CAN SING!!!!!!

You can't just "get rid of dreads", it's a huge process. Just sayin'. But I think she rocks them, it's who she is. Not everyone needs flowing waves or a sleek updo for events like this.
