Cult Favorite: Nars Blush in Orgasm

Since this week is super blush-centric, I thought I'd pay tribute to the queen of all blushers: Nars Cosmetics Blush in Orgasm ($25). When it first launched, girls giggled then oohed and aahed over the sexy name. In time, product sales shot to the moon and the lengthy wait lists became no laughing matter — attaining Orgasm was nearly impossible! Luckily, production came through and now there's enough Orgasm to go around.

This blush has the largest following I have ever seen. It's a shimmery pinky-peach shade, typically reserved for those with olive skin tones. However, this particular color has a special je ne sais quoi that makes it universally flattering.

I bought this because of all the ranting and raving and I have not touched by other blushes since...it's beautiful on!! =] I can't say enough about it, everyone should own it!!

It's not that great for medium to dark African American skin tones (despite all the claims of it being "universal.") It does work well for me when I top my regular deeper colored blushes with a swipe of this. It adds dimension and shimmer. But alone, I wouldn't recommend it for the darker skinned sisters.

It's a gorgeous color that is really hard to come by anywhere else. The name just helps it along. I love it.

I don't usually wear blush (maybe I should) but I can't see paying 25 dollars for just blush...but I would like to try it (just not spend that kind of money on it)

I've never tried this but I have very fair skin and have always shied away from 'peachy' shades. I see quite a few other fair-skinned ladies here rave about it so I may have to give it a go.

Love, love, love this blush! I have very fair skin, and this gives me just the prettiest, subtle glow. I alternate between this one and Kevyn Aucoin's Dolline blush.

I tend to like TheBalms Hot Mama blush a tad better than the Nars Orgasm. They both have a very pretty color though. :)

I bought this years ago because everyone said it was so great. It actually is! I have fair skin and I love the peachy-pink glow I get from it! It's a great summer or natural looking shade.
