A long, hot bath is the solution for most of our mundane issues. Need alone time? Draw a bath and close the door. In pain from an hour of Spinning? Gingerly step into a tub with Epsom salts. Got dry, itchy skin? Pour some oatmeal and milk into your hot water. We're all about the add-ins! Right now one of our favorite recipes mixes fragrant rose essential oil with detoxifying salts and baking soda. Soaking in the Himalayan pink salt helps to remove toxins and ease sore muscles. The minerals will leave you with softer skin, too! While we're hoarding our batch of this DIY soak, the gorgeous pink shade makes it a beautiful gift for wedding season when packaged in a pretty bottle.

The Process

Mix all your dry ingredients in a bowl — Himalayan pink salt, Epsom salts, baking soda, dried rose petals. Add the rose essential oil as the final step, using more or less based on how aromatic you want your bath. Use a funnel to pour the product in an airtight container. Add a 1/2 cup portion of the mixture for every soak.
