The "Inner V" of your eye isn't a technical term, it's a makeup-application one that refers to the inner corners of your eyes. By adding a highlighter or brightener to this area (see the white shimmery shadow that creates a v-shape on Blake Lively's eyes), you can really make your eyes stand out.
Learning how to play up your inner v is easy. Simply use a gold, pink, white or cream highlighter, eye shadow or liner pencil and draw a horizontal V along the top to the bottom of the inner corner of your eye. Blend the product with your fingers and extend the color just under your lower lash line. This trick works wonders with all eye shapes, and it's especially effective when you are trying to give close-set eyes more balance.

She's so gorgeous! I do this with silver or white eyeliner.
Thanks for reminding me, lol, I have a great product from Benefit Cosmetics that gives this exact look. Now, I gotta dig it out
I Do This!!!
Good tip--thanks!
I just started doing this recently. It makes me look so awake whenever I am lacking in the sleep department, which is always a good thing
This is definitely one of my favorite tips. So pretty!
she's beautiful!
White eyeliner on the inner V is like magic when I wake up 20 minutes before a lecture!
This is one of my favorite things to do to my eyes ever.
Love doing this! It works with pretty much any look, but it's especially helpful on those days where you're dead tired, running late, and need to look awake and put together in 2 minutes.
So *that's* what I'm supposed to do with the white eye shadow people keep giving me!
jejej i do that
I love doing this to my eyes as well but it never turns out as good as I want!
Ooh i'll have to try this. I had a white pencil from e.l.f that was supposed to be used for this purpose but it was a piece of junk so I threw it away. I'll have to see if I have any light shadows in my stash.
she just looks fabulous overall. I have some white shadow I do this with sometimes but I really want some cream and I think it will look so much better
she is so pretty. i did this with a gilded golden peach and it looked really pretty
The model here is pretty but the blush is too orangey---making her look like Raggedy Ann. Sorry, I couldn't say anything about the post because I'm distracted with her unflattering orange cheeks. Too bad, her pretty looks were just ruined by that make-up.
I thought the same thing bingaycoy, she has way too much blush on.
Blake looks awful! WAY too much for a beachy look.
Anyway, I do this once in a while, it's great.
