Ecamsule is the only photostable sun protectant that fully blocks short UVA rays, the nasty little buggers responsible for photoaging, sun damage, and similar ill effects. This widest of the wide-spectrum sunscreens is a relative newcomer to the US market (FDA approved in 2006), but it's an important advance in protecting your skin, so it's worth checking to see whether your sunscreen of choice lists it as an active ingredient. On the high end of things, Lancome UV Expert 20 ($35) is a gentle mexoryl-based formulation suitable for sensitive skin. More cheaply, it's available in L'Oreal Revitalift UV ($8), which is also an anti-aging moisturizer.
